Betsey L. Bittlingmaier

Betsey L. Bittlingmaier, 91, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024. Born in Boston, MA, Betsey resided in Bucks County Pennsylvania for the last 20 years since leaving Brooklyn, where she raised her family and had many great friends.

Betsey received her Doctorate degree in Psychology from Fordham University in 1977. Shortly after, Betsey opened her own private practice for 30 plus years and is the author of "Shape Your Personality, Shape Up Your Marriage."

Betsey was a former member of the Newcomers Club and Encore in Pennsylvania. She loved to read, do crossword puzzles, and cook. She also beat everyone at Trivial Pursuit and seemed to be able to answer all but the sports questions. Her favorite pastime was spending time with family especially her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Maude Hines and her husband, Louis Bittlingmaier (2022).

Surviving her is her daughter Kate and husband John Sypa of Branchburg, NJ; and daughter Ingrid and husband David Nobiletti of Cross River, NY; and four grandchildren, Nick, Kristin, Bridget, and James. She was a great wife, mother, and grandmother. May she rest in peace.

A viewing will be on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 10am – 11am at St. Martin of Tours Church in New Hope, PA Funeral mass will begin at 11am.

Burial will be held at St. Martin of Tours Cemetery in New Hope, PA.
