Barbara A. Tropeano Bridgewater, NJ Barbara Tropeano, 75, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022, at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, Barbara resided in Rahway for 14 years before moving to Bridgewater 39 years ago. Barbara graduated from Battin High School, Class of 1965. She then worked for NTD for 5 years in Union, NJ before becoming a stay-at-home mom in 1970. After spending many years raising her family, she returned to work for Kemper Pontiac as an Administrative Professional for 6 years before retiring in 2005. Barbara was loved by everyone who knew her. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking and baking Christmas cookies for the holidays and traveling to the Jersey Shore especially to Ocean Gate and Wildwood Crest. The one thing Barbara enjoyed the most was spending quality time with her family especially her grandchildren She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Rose and Dominick Fowler and her sister, AnnMarie Bender. Surviving are her loving husband of 55 years, Vincenzo A. Tropeano, her dear son, Vince "Butch" Tropeano and wife Colleen of Clinton, NJ; two loving daughters, Marianna and husband Frank Compagnino of Bridgewater, NJ; Rose Tropeano of Manville, NJ; one dear brother, Dominick Fowler and his longtime companion Stephanie of Roselle, NJ; her brother in law Craig Bender of Toms River, NJ; five cherished grandchildren, Michael, Alexa, Tina, Christopher, and Jack, many loving nieces and nephews and her family in Calabria, Italy. A viewing will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022, from 5-8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. A prayer service will begin at the Funeral Home on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 11am. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum in Bridgewater, NJ.
