Barbara G. Aiello Importico, 74, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, Barbara resided in North Plainfield for 40+ years before moving to Bridgewater 26 years ago. Throughout her life, Barbara's occupations consisted of homemaking, retail sales, insurance, and hotel restaurant. Barbara enjoyed life. She loved flowers, gardening, planting and sunshine. She enjoyed music, antiques, history and photography. She loved books and was an avid reader of magazines, biographies, traveling and cooking. She loved fashion, hair, makeup and decorating. She took pleasure in traveling and visiting wonderful restaurants. She found delight in sunrises, sunsets, oceans, lakes and mountains. Most of all Barbara enjoyed spending time with her cherished family, her friends and sharing memories of loved ones. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Eleanore and James Aiello, and her companion, Glenn Murphy. Surviving are her loving daughter Christine and husband Bryan James of Basking Ridge, NJ; a dear son Michael J. Importico of Bridgewater, NJ; a brother James and wife Shannon Aiello of Houston, TX; her former husband Michael T. Importico Jr., two cherished grandchildren Evan Driscoll and Sean Driscoll, several loving nieces and nephews, two step-grandchildren and her two grand dogs, Maggie and Rudy. A viewing will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 3-7pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876 and on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 10-11am. A prayer service will begin on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 11am at the Branchburg Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge, NJ.
