Arthur J. Lehlbach Branchburg, NJ Arthur J. Lehlbach, 62, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Born in Plainfield, NJ, Arthur grew up in Scotch Plains before moving to Branchburg 27 years ago. Arthur graduated from Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School, Class of 1979. He then went on to work for PSE&G in East Orange as a Layout Inspector for 35 years before retiring in 2021. In his younger years, Arthur was an avid bowler and would spend his weekends enjoying long motorcycle rides. In the prime of his life, his free time was spent coaching his children's sports teams and attending all of their activities. He also loved to travel with his family and friends as often as possible. Becoming a grandpa to two grandsons had brought him immense joy the past few years. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Dorothy and Arthur Lehlbach, a sister, Linda Gelson and three brother in laws, Thomas Faitoute, Oliver Howarth, and James O'Donnell; and grandson Vincent Sutphen. Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Linda Zampella Lehlbach, a loving daughter, Kimberly and husband Samuel Sutphen of Hillsborough, NJ; one dear son Kevin Lehlbach and partner Julie Kostilnik of Chesapeake, VA; two sisters, Kathy O'Donnell of Middlesex, NJ and Diane Faitoute of Fanwood, NJ; two cherished grandsons, Daniel and Harrison, and many loving nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 4-8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 9:15am. Funeral mass will take place at 10am at Holy Trinity Church in Bridgewater, NJ.
