Arthur E. Fritz

Arthur Fritz, 90, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at RWJ Hospital in Somerville. Born in Plainfield, NJ, Arthur resided in Green Brook for 37 years before moving to Branchburg 30 years ago.

Arthur graduated from North Plainfield High School. He then went on to attend Commercial Art School.

Mr. Fritz was an accomplished magician. He performed at many local theaters and private events. He went under the stage name, Aladdin and his Genie. After retiring from Picatinny Arsenal where he spent 20 plus years, he had the chance to purchase Raritan Valley Printing Company in 1974 which he and his family grew into a thriving business for 50 years.

Arthur loved visiting Florida especially going to Disney World every year. He also belonged to the Traveling Seniors Club in Piscataway along with his wife Marie. He enjoyed going out to dinners and taking many day trips. The one thing Arthur enjoyed the most was spending quality time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Adrienne and Fred Fritz, a sister Ruth Hoeler, and two brothers, his twin Billy and Buddy.

Surviving are his loving wife Marie Laerea Fritz, two dear sons, Arthur and wife Jeanette Fritz of Branchburg, NJ; Ronald and wife Donna Fritz of Branchburg, NJ; a loving daughter Cindy and husband Joe DeSimone of South Plainfield, NJ; a sister Audrey Lewis of Toms River, NJ; six cherished grandchildren, Brian, Michael, Jenna, Dan, Nick, Marisa, eight adored grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
