Armida Colucci Princeton, NJ Armida Colucci, 96, of Princeton, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 23, 2017 at her home. Born in Lenola, Italy, she immigrated the US where she resided in South Plainfield NJ for 23 years, then Monroe for 36 years before moving to Princeton 5 years ago. Mrs. Colucci was an avid Yankees and Giants fan, golfer, seamstress and artist. She also enjoyed cooking and spending quality time with her family. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Christina and Vincent Loalbo; her beloved husband of 52 years, James Colucci (1995); her daughter, Diane Vivona (2012); 2 brothers, John and August Loalbo; and 2 sisters, Erminia Abbruzzese and Concetta DeLorenzo. Surviving are her 2 cherished daughters, Patricia and husband Leon Lech of Branchburg, NJ, and Cynthia and husband Brian Colbus of Fairfax, VA; 8 loving grandchildren, Allison, Jacqueline, Kevin, Sandra, Ashley, Lindsay, Brooke, and Alexandra; and 13 adored great-grandchildren. Viewing will be held Friday, January 27, 2017 from 4-8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home at 10:00am on Saturday, January 28, 2017 followed by interment at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains.
