Beloved husband, father, son, and brother, Armando "Mandy" Lopez, 50, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022. Born in Brooklyn, NY, to Lidia and Armando Lopez, he grew up in Union City. He settled in Bridgewater 17 years ago with his wife, Katherine Reina-Lopez.

Armando graduated from Emerson High School in 1990. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University and served as a Payroll Accountant Specialist at Chubb Insurance for over 20 years.

He was an adventurer, an outdoorsman, an entrepreneur, and a student of current affairs with an infectious spirit for life. He enjoyed camping, traveling, playing basketball, rooting for the NY Knicks, and dominating his fantasy football leagues. A proud member of Phi-Sigma Kappa, he built a lifelong community of brotherhood.

But above all else, Armando was a loving family man. He was an avid baker, and his annual cookie trays were a highlight of every holiday season. If given a choice, there was nowhere he'd rather be than spending quality time with his family, especially his wife and two dear sons, Ryan and Matthew.

He meets his beloved mother, Lidia Lopez, his uncle Norberto Lopez, and his grandparents in their eternal life with God.

In addition to his wife of 17 years and twin sons, he is survived by his father Armando Lopez, his sister Lily and husband Frank Alonso of Oak Ridge, NJ; and several loving nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 10 am - 11:30 am at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876, immediately followed by a prayer service. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater, NJ.
