Antoinette "Toni" Andresen, 87, of Raritan, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 10, 2020. Born in Raritan, she spent most of her life there. After Toni graduated from Somerville High School in 1949, she worked at Johns-Manville, where she met Bob, her husband of 62 years (d. 2019). She worked in education for many years. She was the first secretary of St. Ann's School (1967) and later worked in the Bridgewater-Raritan school district until her retirement in 2003. Toni's love of family was the focus of her life. She always put family first. She shared valuable life lessons with everyone she met. Hers is a legacy that will last for years to come. Toni's many talents included cooking and needlework. She was a confidante to friends and family and a bridge to her relatives in Italy, her parents' home country. Her greatest joy was to be surrounded by family ¬at the dinner table. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Emma and Jacob Cardarelli and her husband Robert Andresen (2019). She is survived by her loving brother Vincent Cardarelli of Clinton, NJ; her loving children: Douglas Andresen (Clare) of Raritan, NJ; Marc Andresen (Kris Cupillari) of Clarks Summit, PA; Celeste Andresen (Jim Bergstrom) of San Manuel, AZ; Jennifer Armstrong (Michael) of Chapel Hill, NC; Karl Andresen (Jean Sarantos) of Raritan, NJ; Matthew Andresen (Loring Nagle) of Raritan, NJ; two adored grandchildren, Jacob Andresen (Amanda) of Flanders, NJ; Sarah Andresen of Upper Black Eddy, PA; and a niece Aimee Wolsko (Darren) of Clinton, NJ. A viewing will be held on Monday, June 15, 2020 from 10am-12pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876. Funeral services will start with a prayer at the funeral home on Monday, June 15, 2020 at 12pm. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard's Mausoleum in Bridgewater, NJ.
