Anthony Russo Raritan, NJ Anthony Russo, 100, of Raritan, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. Born in Raritan, NJ, he resided in Brooklyn, NY, before moving to Bridgewater, NJ, where he resided most of his life before spending his last few years in Raritan, NJ. Mr. Russo worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Bridgewater Township before his retirement in 1982. He was a communicant of Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Bridgewater. Anthony was a huge workaholic and loved keeping busy. He took great pride in his vegetable garden, loved fishing, hunting, boxing, picking mushrooms, and loved watching sports, especially his favorite football team, the New York Giants. Spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren was what he cherished most. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Anthony is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Angelina and Anthony Russo; his first wife, Margaret Russo; his second wife, Audrey Russo; four sisters, Fannie Bocchino, Margaret Parisi, Angelina Lamberti, and Mary Greco; and two brothers, John and Louis Russo. Surviving are his dear son, David and wife Linda of Blanchard, PA; two cherished grandchildren, Andrew and wife Annette Russo of Howard, PA, and Lanette Rovan and husband Scott of Manville, NJ; two cherished great-grandchildren, Adam Russo and Amanda Russo both of Howard, PA; his loving sister, Nellie Greco of Edison, NJ; and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 2-6pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876. Funeral services will start with a prayer at the funeral home at 9:15am on Monday, June 25, 2018 followed by a 10:00am funeral liturgy at Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Bridgewater.
