Anthony Gambino

Anthony Gambino, 84, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Somerville, NJ, Anthony spent all of his life in Raritan before moving to Bridgewater 31 years ago.

Anthony worked for Structural Foam Plastic as a Quality Control Inspector for 32 years before his retirement in 2003. He also worked at the Somerset Carwash in Somerville for many years.

Anthony loved playing cards and doing Jigsaw puzzles. He was an avid pool player, Yankees, Giants fan and loved to make tomato sauce. Mr. Gambino loved to help his wife with Sunday family dinners, traveling down to the Jersey Shore and taking trips to Atlantic City. During his down time, Mr. Gambino enjoyed watching games shows, Judge Judy, and Dr. Phil. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending quality time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Elsie and John Gambino, three sisters, Jean Sadolowski, Phyllis Ader, and Maryann Mann, a brother, John Gambino, and a son-in-law.

Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years, Arlene Nocilla Gambino, a dear son, Paulie Gambino of Bridgewater, NJ; four loving daughters, Rita and husband John Droumbakis of Hillsborough, NJ; Donna Gambino of Toms River, NJ; Toni and husband Mark Evans of Flemington, NJ; Shelley and husband Frank Crisologo of Pittstown, NJ; three sisters, Rosalie Kotarsky of Manville, NJ; Ethel Beauers of Bridgewater, NJ; Edna Gambino of Bridgewater, NJ; ten cherished grandchildren, Stephanie, Steven, Nicholas, Christopher, Johnathan, Gabriella, Cameron, Colton, Natalie, and Nicolena, five adored great grandchildren, Annabelle, Abigail, Ellie, Brie, and Olivia, and many loving nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 4-8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 RT. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876.

A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Friday, February 3, 2023 at 9:45am. Funeral mass will take place at 10:30am at St. Ann's R.C. Church in Raritan, NJ. Entombment to follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum in Bridgewater, NJ.
