Anthony Colatruglio Jr. Branchburg, NJ Anthony Colatruglio Jr., 59, of Branchburg, NJ, died peacefully on his own terms, Friday, October 1, 2021 in Somerville. Born in Middleburg, NY, to Anthony Sr. and the late Alice Spade. Anthony resided in Union before settling in Branchburg 27 years ago. Anthony graduated from Johnathan Dayton Regional High School in Springfield. He went on to own and operate A.C. Cabinets and Carpentry before living his dream and opening Big Daddy's Pro Shop. For the past seventeen years he served the bowling community with a passion for the sport held since he was just four years old. His wit and expertise set him above the rest. Anthony was a true professional, not just off the lanes, but on them; with a high set of 858 and a number of 300 games. He ran his shop like a family, tough love and lots of laughter established the shops success no matter who owned the lanes. His passion for bowling was shared with his daughter, Jenn, who worked and played beside him her whole life. Big Daddy's Pro Shop is a legacy that will be carried in his name, long after he is gone. Anthony was inducted into the Somerset/Hunterdon Bowling Hall of Fame and was a life member and past president of the Somerset/Hunterdon Bowling Association. He was a technician for IBPSIA, a USBC Silver certified coach, and an expert with a lifetime of experience. Anthony was a free and accepted Mason and a member of the Scottish Right. He knew the power of laughter, and as Crescent Shrine Clown named "Curly" he brought that power to sick children in need. He was the President of the Rack and Fin, Rod/Gun Club. Anthony proudly represented the Night Riders Motorcycle Club Bravo Chapter as president and coveted the brotherhood it brought to his life. The freedom of riding was second to none, especially on his 2015 Street Glide. He spent time hunting and enjoyed the sport of deer and turkey game. Anthony traveled with his family for national bowling events, his most cherished are the times spent in Las Vegas with his family and legacy by his side. Known to not take life too seriously, he could be found flipping the bird in almost every picture (unless his hands were on his bike or a bowling ball). Anthony will be remembered for being surrounded by laughter, friends, and good spirits. His big heart and big laugh will be remembered as he will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his dear mother Alice Colatruglio and his three loyal dogs, Candi, Springer, and Heidi who welcomed him home to paradise. Surviving are his beloved father, Anthony Colatruglio, Sr., his loving wife of thirty three years, Rosemary Deglman Colatruglio , his cherished daughter, Jennifer Nicole and fiancé Geoffrey Osinski of Branchburg, his dear siblings, Frank Colatruglio of So. Bound Brook, Chistopher Colatruglio and wife Ruth of Hampton, and Marie Yeager and husband William of Franklin, many loving nieces and nephews, his extended family, an entire community of friends, and his cats Charlie and Flatty. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 1:00 to 5:00pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876 with a prayer service to be held at 4:30PM. Family and friends are welcome to gather for a final visitation on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 10:30-11:30am
