Anthony "Gabby" Capici , 70, died Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at home. Born in Raritan, he was a lifelong borough resident. Anthony was a laborer for thirty two years with Local #779 of Somerville, until retiring in 1996. He was a member of Laborers International Union of North America. He served a peacetime enlistment in the United States Army. "Gabby" was a member of the Raritan Post War Club. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of twenty two years, Elizabeth "Betty" Longordo Capici, in 1988, his loving parents, Charles and Rose Sammartino Capici, his brother, George, and sisters, Grace Jastrebski and Anita Ingram. Surviving are his loving sons, Anthony and wife, Jennifer of Raritan and Robert and wife, Denise, of Somerset, his cherished grandchildren, Sarah and twins, Michael and Christopher Capici and his loving sisters, Mildred Wink of Raritan and Rose Josephson of San Francisco, California. Prayer services will be held 10am Friday at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Highway 202 South, Branchburg NJ. Internment will follow in the St. Bernard Cemetery Bridgewater.
