Annie R. Ginty Branchburg, NJ Annie Ginty, 94, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Foothill Acres Nursing Home. Born in Waltham, MA, Annie was then raised in Nova Scotia CA, before moving to Flushing, NY, where she was the owner of the Chestnut Bar and Grill for 29 years before retiring in 1990. In 1990 John and Anne retired to Henderson, Nevada before moving to Somerville, NJ. Annie was a member of the Branchburg Senior Citizens. She enjoyed playing cards especially Crazy 8's, taking trips to Sands Casino in PA., and loved a good game of LCR. She loved to cook, sew, and knit. The one thing Annie enjoyed the most was spending quality time with her family. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Mary and Paul Delaney, a sister, Helen Mulqueen Holmes, four brothers, Joseph Delaney, Arthur Delaney, Edward Delaney, and Paul Delaney, and her husband of 30 years, John Ginty (1995). Surviving are her loving daughter, Heather Ginty of Long Beach, NY; and a dear brother, Leonel and wife Margaret Delaney of Nova Scotia, CA. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 4-8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 9:15am. Mass will take place at 10am at St. Ann's R.C. Church in Raritan, NJ. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater, NJ.
