Anne R. Marchese Whitehouse Station, NJ Anne Marchese, 90, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Parker at Landing Lane. Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Anne spent 40 years of her adult life in Branchburg. Anne graduated from West Side High School, Class of 1950. After graduating High School, Anne went on to receive her BA in Foreign Languages from the University of Maryland and a Master's Degree in Guidance from Seton Hall University. Anne worked as an Administrator for J&J Ortho Diagnostics in Raritan for 10 plus years before retiring in 1994. Anne enjoyed cooking and baking pies. She was a devout Catholic and active in her church. She loved to play cards, watch classic movies, and loved attending plays especially the Papermill Playhouse where she held season seats. The one thing Anne enjoyed the most was spending quality time with her family especially her children and sisters. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Maria and Angelo Annunziata and her loving husband of 42 years, James S. Marchese (2006). Surviving are her two loving daughters and son, Jackie Marchese of Branchburg, NJ; James S. Marchese Jr. of Edison, and Nancy and husband Paul Cirigliano of Whitehouse Station, NJ; two sisters, Rosalyn Roberts of Madison, NJ; Adele Mangano of Newark, NJ; brother and sister in-law Sam and Angela Marchese of North Andover, MA; six cherished grandchildren, Mitchell, Hannah, Nicolas, Lucas, Christopher, and Jake and many nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 3-7pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 9:15am. Mass will take place at 10am at St. Ann's R.C. Church in Raritan, NJ. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made in Anne's memory to the Alzheimer's Association Greater N.J.
