Anna Scrape, 88, of Raritan, NJ, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2020. Born and raised in Raritan, NJ, that is where she spent all of her life.
Anna was head bookkeeper at the law firm of Wharton, Stewart and Davis in Somerville followed by Herold & Haines, P.A. in Warren, NJ for 35 years before her retirement in 1996.
Anna graduated Somerville High School in 1950. She was a member of the Bradley Gardens Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for many years.
Anna enjoyed cooking, especially holiday meals for her family. She was an avid reader and also loved doing word search puzzles. After her retirement from the law firm, she worked for Hillside Before and After School program.
She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Argia and Carmen Giaquinto Jr, one sister, Rose Innamaorato, and three brothers, Michael Riga, Anthony Riga, and Michael Giaquinto.
Surviving are her loving daughter, Ann Marie and husband Douglas Kolb of Bridgewater, NJ; a dear son Stephen Scrape of Bridgewater, NJ; one brother, Basil and wife Carole Riga of Easton, PA; five adored grandchildren, Jessica (Tim) Lise, Rachel (Jim Juraska) Kolb, Amanda (Richard) Gapski, Jordan Scrape, and Zachary Scrape, and 7 cherished great grandchildren, Brandon, Caden, Morgan, Amelia, Oliver, Henry, and Josie. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to NJ Special Olympics or the Community Food Bank of New Jersey.
A celebration of Anna's life will be held at a later date with family and friends.
