Anna Caroselli, age 84, of Morris Plains, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Morristown Medical Center. Anna was born and grew up in Jersey City. She also lived in Point Pleasant and Brick Township, before moving to Morris Plains.
Anna graduated from Lincoln High School, and attended college in California, before returning to New Jersey. She began her career at Western Electric, continued through its transition to AT&T, and ultimately retired from Lucent Technologies. She was an astute businesswoman; a source of inspiration and mentor to her many nieces and nephews, as well as others that crossed her path.
The youngest of ten children, Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Elvira (Cucci) and Felice Caroselli; brothers, Phil Caroselli and Francis Caroselli; sisters, Nancy LaMonica, Rose "Marcella" Reehill, Loretta Buzzerio, Marie Teresa (Terre) Smith, and Barbara Anna Caroselli. She is survived by her brother, Peter and wife Dorothy Caroselli of Point Pleasant; sister, Mena DeMars of Redmond, Oregon; step-daughter, Deborah Ann (Debbie) Cannata; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.
Anna was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed following football, baseball, tennis and golf. She enjoyed completing daily crossword puzzles, reading her daily newspapers, and watching period dramas and her favorite television shows. A health advocate, Anna's exercise routine and healthy eating were a top priority. In later years, she enjoyed time with her family and friends sharing her joy of tea and making a comfortable home for herself.
Anna will be greatly missed by those who knew her and cherished the love and happiness she brought into their lives.
A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday August 24, 2022 at 10:30am at St Mary of the Lake Church in Lakewood, NJ followed by internment at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery.
