Ann Thompson, 64, of Neshanic Station, NJ, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022 at her home. Born in Forrest Hills, NY, Ann resided in Long Island for most of her life before moving to Branchburg 14 years ago.
Ann graduated from Garden City High School, Class of 1975, and Katherine Gibbs School. After graduating, Ann worked as a Travel Consultant for 20 years for ProTravel in Long Island, NY.
Ann loved to travel, especially to Disney at least two times a year. She enjoyed attending Mets and St. John's Basketball games. Along with craft fairs, tricky trays, and the Branchburg Recreation exercise class. Ann loved watching game shows. Here favorites were Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She sent hallmark cards for every occasion to her family and friends. Ann shared her quirky sense of positivity with everyone she met and loved with her whole heart. The one thing Ann enjoyed the most was spending quality time with her family especially her nieces, nephew, and the puppies. It was her Faith in God that guided her through her life.
She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Gloria and Frank Thompson.
Surviving are her loving companion Tommy Stolz of Queens, NY; one dear brother, Francis and wife Carrie Thompson of Sarasota, FL; three sisters, Pamela A. Thompson of AZ; Mary and husband Edward Schmitt of Sugar Grove, IL; Barbara and husband Axel Breidenbruch of Branchburg, NJ; five nieces Sarah, Meghan, Kirsten, Caitlin, and Devin and one nephew Eddie, and her two dogs Biscuit and Hazel.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 9am-10:30am. A prayer service will begin at the funeral home at 10:15am. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Queens, NY.
