Angelina M. Marinaro, 103 of Brick, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2020 at Complete Care Shorrock Gardens in Brick, NJ. She was born in Port Murray, NJ but moved to Washington, NJ where she lived as a child. She married Philip Marinaro and moved to Raritan, NJ where she lived most of her life. After her husband passed away in 1996, she moved to Hillsborough where she lived until she was 95 years old. She moved to Ocean County in 2012 to be close to her daughter and lived in Leisure Village East, Lakewood, NJ. After five years she moved to Shorrock Gardens Nursing Home Care Center.
Angelina was a communicant at St. Ann's R.C. Church. She enjoyed singing in the church choir at St. Ann's R.C. Church, she was a former member of the Alter Rosary Society, and a member of the Raritan and Hillsborough Senior Citizens. She was also a part of the Rockettes Dance group in Hillsborough, NJ.
Angelina enjoyed cooking especially for Sunday dinner. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, traveling with her husband around the world and spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years Philip Marinaro, four brothers, Christopher, Anthony, John, and Frank Leggio, and one sister Mary Guinta.
Surviving are her loving daughter Rose Marie and husband Lawrence of Brick, NJ; Her dear son Philip and wife Christine of Little Egg Harbor, NJ; her six cherished grandchildren Angela Stabile of Deerfield Beach, Fl., Elizabeth Rastelli of Hillsborough, NJ., Elena Stabile of Clifton, NJ and Gerald Stabile of New York City, NY; and Barbara Marinaro and Michael Marinaro of Ocean County, NJ; and three Great Grandchildren; Ashley, Caitlin and Taylor and a great great grandchild Emma Rose.
