Angela M. Hartmann, 79, of Stewartsville, NJ, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026. Born in Newark, NJ, Angela resided in Stewartsville for 25 years.

Angela had a passion for looking her best and enjoyed dressing up, having her hair and nails done and putting on her makeup. Whether she was shopping for something special or simply spending time with family and friends, she brought warmth, laughter, and energy wherever she went. She genuinely loved being around people and had a gift for making everyone feel welcome.

Selfless by nature, Angela would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need. Her kindness knew no limits and she never hesitated to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement. Even on life's most difficult days, she had an incredible ability to find the good, choosing hope and gratitude over negativity.

Above all, Angela's great joy was her family, especially her grandchildren whom brought her endless joy and happiness to her life. Angela leaves behind a legacy of generosity, unconditional love and compassion.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Michelina and Anthony Scarnegi, first husband, John F. Vacca (1976) and her second husband, Henry E. Hartmann (2020).

Surviving are her two loving daughters, Gina and husband Anthony LaPolla, Lisa Marie and husband Scott Wilson, and two adored grandchildren, Jessica and Emily.

A memorial service will take place on Friday, August 7, 2026 from 3pm-7pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ, 08876.

A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 9:15am. Funeral Mass will take place at 10am at St. Bernard Church in Bridgewater, NJ. Committal is private.
