Andrew Ungerleider Bridgewater, NJ Andrew (Andy) Ungerleider, 55, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 16, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. A lifelong resident of NJ, graduated South Plainfield HS in '82, and resided with his family in Bridgewater for the past 23 years. Andy was an avid football fan (Penn State and NY Giants) and a NY Yankees baseball fan. He loved playing soccer, traveling, going on cruises, but most importantly he enjoyed spending quality time with his family, especially his children. He is preceded in death by his loving father, Alan Ungerleider and mother-in-law, Santina Mondo Drexinger. Surviving are his beloved wife of 31 years, Ruthanne, his dear son and best friend Drew, and his loving daughter Jillian. Also survived by his mother Elaine Levine Ungerleider; brothers, Richard (Diane) of Somerset, NJ; Eric (Michelle) of Woodstock, GA; Robert (Joan) Necklen of Jersey City, NJ; and Michael (Lynn) Necklen of Ft. Myers, FL; sisters, Mindy (Fr. Bill) Gikas of Mahwah, NJ; and Wendy Necklen (Kevin Newton) of New Orleans; brother-in-law, John (Jeannie) Drexinger of Pittstown, NJ; sister-in-law Kristen (Jason) Figueroa of Little Falls, NJ; step-mother, Carolann Ungerleider of Ft. Myers, FL; father-in-law John Drexinger of Flemington, NJ; his companion canine Brynn, and many loving nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2020, from 1-5PM at the Branchburg Funeral Home; 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. Prayers will begin at the funeral home on Monday, January 20, 2020, at 11am followed by a burial at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon (THON) - 227D Hub University Park, PA 16802, to raise awareness for the fight against childhood cancer.
