Ancilla N. Petronio Branchburg, NJ Ancilla Petronio, 92, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Arcade, Province of Treviso, Italy, she arrived in the United States in 1955. A former resident of North Plainfield, she resided in Branchburg for the past 25 years. Ancilla enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, knitting, crocheting, gardening, and was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her greatest devotion was to the Church. In recent years she made and donated hundreds of rosaries to the missions and churches. She will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marina and Leopoldo Boscarato; and her beloved husband of 63 years, Anteo A. Petronio (2013). Surviving is her loving daughter, Anna Maria Prumachuk and her husband, Paul of Bridgewater; two dear sons, John Petronio and wife, Linda of Hampton and Sergio Petronio and wife, Laura of Branchburg; six cherished grandchildren, Kristina, Laura, Nicole, Joseph, Amanda, and Steven; six adored great-grandchildren, Ellie, Anthony, Nora, Max, Charlie, and Tyler; two sisters, Ada Barro of Treviso, Italy and Vilma Callegari of Spresiano, Italy; and many nieces and nephews in Italy. A private viewing will be held Monday, October 5, 2020 from 8:45am-9:45am at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876, followed by a 10:30am funeral liturgy at St. Bernard R.C. Church in Bridgewater, NJ. Entombment will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the St. Bernard R.C.
