Albert Kubilus Hillsborough, NJ Albert Kubilus, 77, of Hillsborough, NJ, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at RWJ University Hospital Somerset surrounded by his family. Born in Shenandoah, PA, Al spent most of his life in Manville before moving to Hillsborough over 20 years ago. Al had a long and successful career with the Borough of Manville Department of Public Works, serving the Borough and its residents for 20 plus years before his retirement in 2005. Al was an avid golfer, fisherman, and boater and loved playing pool and shooting darts. He was also a sports car and motorcycle enthusiast and particularly loved Corvettes and his Shelby Mustang. He was extremely handy, an amazing artist and craftsman, and could build or fix practically anything. Above all else, Al enjoyed spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-granddaughter, and loved vacationing with them in Ocean City, MD. Al is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Violet and John Kubilus; a brother, Eddie Kubilus; and two sisters, Jeanie Kubilus and Debbie Bardar. Surviving are his companion, Nadine Moritz of Hillsborough, NJ; his dear son, David Kubilus of Hillsborough, NJ; his dear son and his partner, Eric Kubilus and Amy Piccola of Bryn Mawr, PA; his two loving daughters and their spouses, Kim and Paul Kiesel of Neshanic Station, NJ, and Melanie and Michael Johnston of Hillsborough, NJ; his four cherished grandchildren, Christopher and Ashley Kiesel, Sage Johnston, and Jesse Kubilus; and his adored great-granddaughter, Carley Kiesel.
