Suzanne Barbato Bozzomo , 76, died Tuesday, June 02, 2009 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Raritan, she had resided in Middlesex for the past 49 years. Mrs. Bozzomo was a communicant of St. Ann's R.C. Church in Raritan and a member of its Altar and Rosary Society. Susie was an avid gardener who enjoyed working in her vegetable garden. Year after year she spent countless hours working at St. Ann's Festa. Susie enjoyed spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony 'Toofie' Barbato in 1987 and Margaret Miano Barbato in 2008. Surviving are her beloved husband of 49 years, Joseph Bozzomo; her loving daughter, Margaret Kenny, and husband, Adam and her loving son, Frank Bozzomo, and wife, Christine, all of Middlesex; her eight cherished grandchildren, Suzanne, Megan, Robert, Nicole, Joseph, Frank, Sara and Mackenzie; her dear brother, Michael Barbato of Branchburg; and her dear sister-in-law, JoAnn Marfino of Bridgewater. Funeral services will begin with a prayer at 10:45 AM on Friday, June 5, 2009 at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876 (908) 526-7638 followed by an 11:30 AM Funeral Liturgy at St. Ann's R.C. Church, 45 Anderson Street, Raritan. Viewing hours are Thursday, June 4, 2009 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
