Margaret Sofield Raritan, NJ Margaret Sofield, 98, of Raritan NJ passed away peacefully at Rivers Edge Nursing Home on May 13, 2015. She was a lifelong resident of Somerville before moving to Raritan five years ago. Mrs. Sofield was a member of the Bradly Gardens Reformed Church in Bridgewater. In her spare time her passion was gardening, and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, her beloved husband of 50 years, Edward Sofield (1992), and her loving son LeRoy Sofield (2010). Surviving are her loving daughter-in-law, Monika M. Sofield of Toms River NJ; two cherished grandchildren, Harold and Jamie Brown; and three cherished great- grandchildren, Brian, Melissa, and Steven. Viewing will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 from 7:00-9:00 PM and Saturday May 16, 2015 from 9:30 AM until service time at 10:00 AM at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg NJ 08876. Interment will follow at New Cemetery in Somerville NJ.
