Lottie (Mary) C. Guide Former Telephone Operator Raritan Lottie (Mary) Conti Guide, 76, died Sunday, November, 14, 2004 at her residence. Born in Somerville, she resided in Raritan her entire life. She was Telephone Operator for New Jersey Bell and Somerset Trust Company for 20 years until retiring in 1966. She was a communicant of St. Bernards R.C. Church in Bridgewater. She was a former member of Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Sante Moretti Post #1748 of Raritan. Lottie enjoyed cooking and was the "very best" at it. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Carmella Gross in 1978 and Frances Conti in 1998 and her brother, Sebastian in 1999. Surviving are her beloved husband of 41 years, Anthony (Tony) Guide, her loving daughter Kathy Guide of Raritan, her dear sister Theresa Kovac and brother-in-law Andy, and her brother Louis A. Conti, both of Raritan and several cherished nieces and nephews. Funeral services will begin 8:45 A.M. Wednesday from the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ followed by a 9:30 Funeral Liturgy at the St. Bernards R. C. Church, 500 Route 22 East, Bridgewater, NJ. Interment will be in the St. Bernards Cemetery, Bridgewater. Visitation hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the funeral home.
