Bridgewater, NJ – Gene Marko, 79, passed away August 23, 2015. He was born in Old Forge, PA on February 29, 1936 to Zena Worobey and John Marko. Gene worked in the Research and Development Dept. for Merck and Company Inc. in Rahway NJ for 30 years. He loved boating, sailing, gardening, his fish pond, and especially spending time with his family at his shore house in Seaside Park. Gene is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Radzuk Marko of Bridgewater for 58 years; his loving children, Donna (Ron) Dante of Bridgewater, Ken (Peggy) Marko of Bridgewater, and Cathy (Chris) Costanzo of Flemington; a dear sister, Christine (Bill) Weiss of Scotch Plains; seven wonderful grandchildren, Melissa Marko, Amanda (Justin) McCabe, Stephanie (Barry) Formus, Nicholas Dante, Brianne, Brooke, Christopher Costanzo; a dear brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Michael and Marie Radzuk of DelRay Beach FL; and several nieces and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Route 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876, (908-526-7638).
