Christian J Nicosia Neshanic Station Christian J Nicosia, 29, passed away on Wednesday June 25, 2014. Born in Summit NJ, formally of Scotch Plains, he was a resident of Neshanic Station before moving to Somerset two years ago. Mr. Nicosia was a Registered Vet Technician for Red Bank Animal Hospital in Hillsborough NJ. Prior to that he was employed by Plainfield Animal Hospital in South Plainfield NJ. Christian graduated with a Bachelor's of Science from Rutgers University in Animal Science. He enjoyed collectibles especially baseball cards; very enthusiatic; loved animals; and enjoyed taking vacations to the Jersey Shore and to New York City with his girlfriend. Surviving are his beloved parents, Judith Potignana and Russell Nicosia of Neshanic Station, NJ; his sisters, Shanna Nicosia Hopeck and husband John of Berkeley Heights NJ; Brandene Nicosia Jackus and husband Steven of Branchburg NJ; 2 loving nieces and nephews; his Great Uncle, Joseph Bachstatter and wife Hilde of Stroudsburg PA; and his loving girlfriend, Michelle Puskas of South Plainfield NJ. He was predeceased by his paternal/materal grandparents. Viewing will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876, (908-526-7638).
