Charlotte Elizabeth Flynn, 86, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerville.

Born in Woburn, Massachusetts, Charlotte later moved to Bridgewater, NJ where she resided with her loving husband William for 42 years.

Upon graduation from high school, Charlotte had various jobs but the job she loved the most was being a mother to her three children Pamela, Brian, and Kristin.

An avid knitter, she created handmade blankets that she generously donated to the hospital, bringing warmth and comfort to countless others. She enjoyed spending time in the kitchen baking and cooking for those she loved, and could often be found with a good book in hand. Charlotte looked forward to many trips to the casino, playing bingo with her church community, listening to music, and watching her favorite horror movies. Always ready for an adventure, she loved taking road trips, especially when she was behind the wheel. She traveled to Alaska, Jamaica, France, Italy, and Switzerland. She will always be remembered for her selfless heart, her generosity, and her wonderful sense of humor.

She is predeceased by her beloved parents Rose Pero and Arthur Ford, and her two loving brothers Arthur and Fredrick Ford.

Charlotte is survived by her loving husband of 67 years William Flynn Jr., her daughter Pamela Flynn and husband Stephen Bordenca, son Brian and his wife Karen Flynn, daughter Kristin and husband David Green, nine grandchildren Justin, Zachary, Brandon, Jacob, Alex, Kayla, Ethan, Eric, Nicholas, and one great granddaughter Parker.

A viewing will take place on Thursday, July 23, 2026 from 3pm-7pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876.

A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 9:15am followed by a 10am Mass at Holy Trinity Church, 60 Maple Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Committal is private.
