Catherine Georgiadou Vouros , 87, died Sunday, January 18, 2009 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Athens, Greece, she immigrated to the United States in 1948, settling in Raritan. She then resided in Somerville for 23 years before moving to Bridgewater in 1996. Mrs. Vouros was a homemaker and an avid cook. She enjoyed watching Johnny Depp movies and spending quality time with her great-grandchildren. Catherine was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Charles J., in 2000 and her grandson, Richard L. Leibold, Jr. in 2003. Surviving are her loving daughter, Cynthia Mellusi of North Branch, her loving grandchildren, Jennifer Mangini and husband, Jason of Dublin, PA, four great-grandchildren, Monica, Scott, Demaris and Charlie, her sister, Maria, of France and many nieces and nephews. A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday (January 22) at 10:30 AM at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ, 08876 (908) 526-7638. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater. Viewing hours are Wednesday (January 21) from 6 to 9 PM and Thursday (January 22) from 9:45 to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
