Bruno Riga Bridgewater NJ Bruno Riga, 95, of Bridgewater NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at his home. Born in Santo Onofrio Italy, he immigrated to the USA and has resided in Bridgewater for the last 65 years. In his early years, Mr. Riga was a former member of the Raritan Italian American Club. His family and friends thought of him as the most generous, caring, and compassionate man, and he will be missed by all who knew him. Bruno loved gardening, working around his yard, playing bocce ball, making wine with his brothers, and spending quality time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fortunato and Anna Riga, his beloved wife of 64 years, Rosina Riga (2014), and two brothers, Anthony and Fortunato. Surviving are his three loving sons, Fred Riga of Neshanic Station NJ, Paul Riga of Bridgewater NJ, and Tony and his wife Karen Riga, also of Bridgewater NJ, and five cherished grandchildren, Maria, Anthony, Bruno, Caitlyn, and Lauren. Viewing will be held Thursday, December 03, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Route 202 South, Branchburg NJ 08876. Funeral services will start with a prayer at 9:30 AM at the funeral home on Friday, December 04, 2015 followed by a 10:15 AM funeral liturgy at St. Ann's R.C. Church in Raritan.
