Paul L. Hydock, 84, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2012 at his residence. Born in Kingston, PA, and a former resident of Edwardsville, PA, Paul resided in Bridgewater for the past 47 years.
Mr. Hydock served in the United States Army Infantry during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Hydock was a New Jersey State Trooper for 28 years, retiring in 1983 as a Sergeant 1st Class, and was a Supervisor for 13 years. He was a member of the Former New Jersey State Troopers Association and a member of the American Legion Post #0797, Edwardsville, PA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John L. and Anne McCloskey Hydock; his brother, John Hydock; and his brother-in-law, Austin Burge.
Surviving are his loving sister, Dolores Burge of Edwardsville, PA; his niece Deborah Evensen and husband, Scott; his cousins, George and Sue Sabol; and his good friend, Frank Rue.
Funeral services will begin with a prayer on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 9:15 AM at Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876 (908) 526-7638 followed by a 10 AM Funeral Liturgy at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 60 Maple Street, Bridgewater. Viewing hours are Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 2 to 5 PM at the funeral home. Interment of cremains will take place privately.
