Julia M. Palma, 95, of Bridgewater NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2017. Born in Newark, she was a resident of Keasbey for 20 years before moving to Bridgewater 22 years ago.
Before her retirement in 1990, she worked for Sharing Plough Pharmaceutical as a supervisor.
Julia was an avid Yankee fan, enjoyed reading, and spending quality time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Josephine and Silvio Marrone; her beloved husband of 37 years, Arthur Palma; her loving son Arthur Palma Jr; and 3 sisters.
Surviving are her loving daughter Joan Szymanski of Bridgewater, NJ; 3 cherished grandchildren Jill, Michael, and Jennifer and husband Thomas; and 3 adored great grandchildren, Alexis Julia, Samantha, and Thomas.
Viewing will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2017 from 3-7pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876.
Funeral services will start with a prayer at 8:45am at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 followed by a 9:30am funeral liturgy at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church in Somerville.
Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover NJ.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
