Dorothy Ann “Dottie” Kostro
Live Oak, FL

Dorothy Ann “Dottie” Kostro, 84, of Live Oak, FL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. Born in Somerville, NJ on August 19, 1932 she resided in Neshanic Station, NJ for most of her life before moving to North Carolina for 10 years before moving to Florida 6 years ago.
Mrs. Kostro was a member of the Branchburg Township Committee and was a Somerset County 4h leader. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling all over, and spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she adored. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Mary Sirisky and George Dalrymple; her beloved husband of 21 years, Walter J. Kostro (1975); her daughter, Suzanne Kovacs (2013); and son, Nicholas Kostro (2014).
Surviving are her loving son, Stephen W. Kostro and wife Sandra Estevez of Live Oak, FL; her cherished grandchildren, Robert W. and wife Priscilla, and Kellie Valko and her husband Joseph; 3 adored great-grandchildren, Joseph, Jonathan, and Alannah; and her dear son-in-law, Charles W. Kovacs of Neshanic Station, NJ.
Viewing will be held Sunday, July 02, 2017 from 1:00-5:00pm and Monday, July 03, 2017 from 10:00-11:00am at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876.
A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 03, 2017 at 11:00am followed by interment at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater, NJ.
