Bedminster, NJ

Lourdes B. Tatsch, 85, of Bedminster, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 8, 2017. Born in Brazil, she immigrated to the USA where she lived in Branchburg for 7 years before moving to Bedminster 25 years ago.
Mrs. Tatsch worked for Johnson & Johnson as a Production Supervisor before her retirement in 1986.
Lourdes loved selling Avon products here and in Brazil for over 20 years. She was a very devout Catholic, was always there to help anyone in need, and loved spending quality time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her loving parents Elsa and Guilherme Simchen and a sister Ermgardt Shida.
Surviving are her dear son, Flavio and wife Grace Tatsch of Neshanic Station, NJ; her loving daughter, Maria and husband Flavio Hickel of NJ; her wonderful sister, Lori Laux of Porto Alegre, Brazil; 4 cherished grandchildren, Flavio Jr., Silvia, Daniel, and Steven; and her adored niece, Ilona and husband David Sztella of Flanders, NJ.
Viewing will be held Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 10:30-11:30am followed by a 11:30am funeral mass at St. Brigid Church, 129 Main St, Peapack, NJ 07977.
Committal will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
